World premiere of Mehazabien’s movie ‘Priyo Maloti’ to be held in Egypt

‘Saba’ was the first movie starring Mehazabien Chowdhury, the top actress of this generation of Bangladesh’s TV drama scene. This movie created a stir in the international arena before its release in the country.
The movie ‘Saba,’ directed by Maksud Hossain, had its world premiere at the ‘Toronto International Film Festival’ in Canada.
The South Asian premiere of this movie was held in Busan, South Korea. The movie will be shown at the Alternative Film Festival in Bali, Indonesia this month.
Mehazabien is impressed with this international tour of her first movie.
But in the meantime, another news came that after Mehazabien’s first movie ‘Saba’, her second movie is going to be world premiered in the international arena.
Mehazabien’s second film ‘Priyo Maloti,’ directed by Shankha Dasgupta, has been selected for the world premiere at the ‘45th Cairo International Film Festival 2024’, which will begin in Cairo, Egypt in the middle of this month.
While talking in this regard, Mehazabien told this correspondent, “I am impressed with the unprecedented response I got from outside the country for my first movie ‘Saba’ before its release in the country. I was with every success step of ‘Saba’ in the international arena. I have enjoyed witnessing the fascination of the audience in ‘Saba’. This does not explain the fascination. How big an achievement this is for an artist, can’t really be explained. I am eagerly waiting for the release of ‘Saba’ in the country. Meanwhile, there is good news for my second movie ‘Priyo Maloti’. This movie is going to be the world premiere outside the country. It is a matter of great pride for our whole team that this movie is going to be the world premiere in the Cairo International Film Festival 2024.”
“We never thought that the story of ‘Priyo Maloti’ based on Bangladesh will be so relevant in the international arena. It’s really a huge success for our entire team and the film of Bangladesh. After the world premiere, we are planning to release the movie in the theatres of the country as soon as possible for the audience of Bangladesh. The audience was always by my side in my every work. I believe that ‘Priyo Maloti’ will inspire us by my side, by our team’s side even during the release.”
It is true that the drama lovers of this country have been impressed by Mehazabien’s performances in countless dramas.
Similarly, her presence as an advertising model has spread fascination among the audience. Again, Mehazabien’s impeccable performances in stage shows have also impressed the audience.
However, Mehazabien lovers of Bangladesh are waiting with great interest for the release of her first movie ‘Saba’ and second movie ‘Priyo Maloti’ in the country.
