Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology (BUET) held a workshop on future Brahmaputra-Jamuna river management, organized by Institute of Water and Flood Management (IWFM), BUET at BUET Council Building on Saturday. The workshop was chaired by Prof. Dr. Ainun Nishat, former director of IWFM, BUET.
Dr. Mansoor Rahman, Professor of IWFM delivered keynote address on the workshop. Besides, former director of Bangladesh Water Development Board (BWDB) Mahfuzur Rahman, Prof. Dr. Md. Abdul Matin of Water Resources Engineering Department of BUET and Prof. Dr. Mohammad Rezaur Rahman of IWFM gave presentation on related issues. Prof. Dr. A K M Saiful Islam, Director of IWFM delivered welcome address.
