Women’s Cricket League begins on May 28

The Metropolitan Women’s Cricket League begins on May 28 at the Dhanmondi Cricket Stadium.
A total of 14 teams splitting into two groups will take part in the first phase of the competition. The matches will be held at the Dhanmondi Cricket Stadium, BKSP Ground-2 and BKSP Ground-4.
Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited will face Indira Road Krira Chakra in the opening match at the Dhanmondi Cricket Stadium.
Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited, Dhaka Cricketers, Khelaghar Shamaj Kalyan Sangha, Indira Road Krira Chakra, Kalabagan Krira Chakra, Bangladesh Ansar & VDP, Rayer Bazar Athletic Club have been billed in Group A while Abahani Limited, Dipali Jubo Sangha, BKSP, Jahurul Islam City Cricket Club, Urban Sports & Cultural Development, Gulshan Youth Club, Orient Sporting Club have been placed in Group B.
The match of the league will be a 40-over-a-side affair.
