Police have recovered the body of a woman with her hands and feet tied, a day after she went missing in Kishoreganj’s Katiadi on Wednesday afternoon.
The body of Khushnahar was recovered from the water of a beel at Sahasram-Dhuldia of katiadi upazila. Victim’s Khushnahar is the daughter of Samsu Mia. Police have detained three people for questioning in the incident. The Officer in Charge (OC) in katiadi police station, Tariqul Islam confirmed the matter.
Police and relatives said that Khushnahar, who had separated from her husband, lived at her father’s house. She had not been found since Tuesday evening. On Wednesday noon , locals informed the police after seeing her body lying in the Mashua Beel near her house.
Upon receiving the information, the police of the Gachihata Investigation Center went there and recovered her body. His hands, feet and mouth were tied. The police believe that she was strangled to death.
