Woman killed in city road accident

An unidentified woman aged about 30 was killed in a road accident at Banani in the city on Wednesday morning.
The accident occurred around 11.15 am when a pickup van hit the woman while she was crossing the road in front of private TV channel Maasranga, said sub inspector Zakir Hossain of Banani Police Station.
The injured was rushed to Kurmitola Hospital and later she was shifted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where the on-duty physicians pronounced her dead.
