Ward Master Competition Held in Pirganj

A ward master competition was held at the upazila level for the development of
students' talent at Pirganj Upazila under Thakurgaon district.
The competition was organized by the non-governmental development
organization Goodneighbors Bangladesh Pirganj CDP on Wednesday at the hall of
Pirganj Banik Government High School.

Arifullah, Ranishankail Upazila Secondary Education Officer Belal Uddin, Pirganj
Banik Government Girls High School Headmaster Jamal Uddin, Pirganj Press
Club Vice President Mokaddes Hayat Milon, Teacher Dhananjoy Roy, student
Cameli Akhter Kona, among others, spoke at the award ceremony presided over by
Goodneighbors Bangladesh Pirganj CDP Manager Bidhan Mandal.
To improve the quality of education of students, eighth grade students from 21
schools in the upazila participated in the English Word Master competition. Later,
crests and certificates were distributed among the winners.
