The country’s leading technology product manufacturer, Walton Digi-Tech Industries Limited, has launched a new 40 ppm automatic duplex printer.
With this state-of-the-art Walton printer, users can easily print from a computer or laptop as well as a smartphone or tab through an app.
The new model of the Walton printer, which has come to the market under its ‘Printon’ brand, is Printon OP401DW. Walton’s new printer with fast printing facilities costs 27,500 BDT.
The new Printon printer model was inaugurated by Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Secretary Shish Haider Chowdhury and Chairman of Walton Digi-Tech Industries Limited S M Rezaul Alam at the recently held Advanced Technology Solution or ATS Expo-2024 industry fair.
At the event, it was informed that the new Princeton printer has a 1.2 GHz processor and 512 MB memory. Its printing speed is 40 (A4) and 42 (letter) ppm. The first page will be printed in less than 6.9 seconds, and the monthly duty cycle is 100,000 pages, says a press release.
At the inauguration ceremony of the new model of the Printon printer, ICT Secretary Shish Haider Chowdhury said: Walton is creating employment in the country on a large scale.
