Country’s tech giant Walton has been phenomenal in the electric bike or e-bike market. Walton, the first BRTA-approved company in Bangladesh, has added two new models to its e-bike series ‘Takyon’.
These new e-bikes are being seen as smart and environmental friendly companions for urban and rural commuting due to their modern design, powerful motor, long-performing battery backup and affordability as the cost of the Walton e-bikes are of only 10-15 paise per kilometer.
The newly launched ‘Fusion 25FZ’ model will provide excellent milage of up to 100 to 110 kilometers on a single charge. The maximum speed of this model is 60 kilometers per hour. The bike features 72V38Ah graphene lead-acid battery and a 1.2 kilowatt DC brushless motor. It has the acceleration ability from zero to 100 meters in just 10 seconds.
With a dual disc brake system, advanced tires and a weight of 140 kg, this model will provide reliable performance on both city and highway roads. It is priced at BDT 1,87,500 only, says a press release.
On the other hand, the ‘LEO 25T1’ model is capable of providing maximum speed of 35 kilometers per hour. The bike can run for 70 to 80 kilometers on a single charge. It has a 60V23AH graphene lead-acid battery, charging time of which is only 6 to 8 hours.
