Walton Hi-Tech Industries PLC has signed a global distributorship agreement with Flair M&E Pte Ltd, appointing the Singapore-based company as its authorised distributor in Singapore for five years.
According to a disclosure posted on the Dhaka Stock Exchange website yesterday, the deal authorises Flair M&E, a private company incorporated in Singapore, to sell, distribute, and market Walton products in the country.
Walton stated that the agreement will remain effective from the date of signing, says a press release.
Earlier, Walton has officially launched its business operation in Sri Lanka, marking another milestone in its journey to becoming one of the top global electronics brands.
Walton Brand was launched at a splendid programme recently held at Cinnamon Life Hotel in Colombo. The grand launching program was organised by Monik Trading Private Limited, a renowned Sri Lankan farm and distributor of the Walton brand.
Addressing the event , Deputy Head of Mission of the Bangladesh Embassy in Sri Lanka, Md. Jannatul Habib said, the business expansion of the Bangladeshi tech giant Walton brand in the Sri Lankan market is undoubtedly very good news.
Through this expansion, Bangladesh’s export income is expected to increase, and its image in the global market will be enhanced.
Walton Micro-Tech’s CEO, Nishat Tasnim Shuchi, said, We are working in the international market to make Walton the world’s leading global electronics brand. By officially launching the Walton brand in Sri Lanka, we have achieved another milestone towards that goal.
Strong sales, marketing, and after-sales service facilities have already been established to create a strong position for the Walton brand in the Sri Lankan market.
