Walton Cricketers of Bangladesh reached the semifinals of the Chiang Mai International Six-A-Side Cricket Tournament when they beat Irambut of Australia by 25 runs in their second round match in Thailand on Friday.
Sent into bat first, Walton Cricketers made 86 runs for the loss of two wickets in five overs and then they restricted Australia to 61 for the loss of none.
Mehrab Hossain was the highest scorer for Walton Cricketers. He made 33.
Mehedi Marroof, Shaon and Sabuj added 17, 15 and nine runs to the Walton Cricketers total.
Mehrab Hossain was adjudged the Man of the Match.
