Apart from being the Chairman of Wakil Uddin Bank, he has been the Managing Director of Swadesh Properties Ltd., Swadesh Global Media Ltd. and Baridhara Corporation Ltd. and the Director of Hardco International School.
He is also the President of the Editorial Board of the National Daily Swadesh Pratidin‘. Wakil Uddin is moving forward in the belief of contributing to the country’s economy by playing a role in socio-economic development and job creation.
Meanwhile, as Wakil Uddin has been nominated as the chairman of the Mutual Trust Bank, there has been excitement among the directors and officers and employees of the bank.
A senior official of the bank, who did not want to be named, said, “We believe that as he
(Wakil Uddin) is the chairman, the confidence of the customers in depositing their deposits will increase manifold.”
