Waiting for heroine Poppy

No one can give proper information about National Film Award winning actress Sadika Parvin Poppy where she is, what she is doing, what she is not doing. But what is heard is that she is married, she has a child. No one can give the existence of this news. But wherever she is, stay well, stay healthy and stay happy – that’s what the movie people
are wishing for. There is no news of Poppy,
but still some are waiting for her return.
A businessman from Sylhet named Rupok Kiron Talukder met Poppy on the heroine’s birthday at the residence in New Eskaton area of the capital in 2019. At that time, Rupok seriously talked to Poppy
about a life story of a movie. Poppy heard the story and expressed great interest to work in the movie. After being informed by Poppy, she was preparing to produce the movie with her close friend director Tarikul Islam. Rupok completed the work of writing the story of the movie with a popular storyteller. All kinds of preparations for the
production of the movie are over. But the director and producer are waiting for Poppy.
Director Tariqul Islam also explained the reason for this. Tarikul Islam said, “I have talked about making my movie with Rupok Kiron Talukder long ago. He has already talked to me several times
about the production of the movie. But suddenly we have stopped the production of the movie due
to Poppy’s disappearance. Since Rupok Dada has expressed keen interest in making the movie. So, we are waiting for Poppy. However, I don’t know how long this wait really is. We have tried to contact Poppy many times. But the result is zero. But since the title of the movie is ‘Tomar Hasite Bodhu, Janina
Ki Achhe Jadu,’ I want to make the movie
with Poppy. Poppy’s smile matches the title of
the movie. Now we are waiting for her.”
Meanwhile, Sadeque Siddiqui has been
delaying the release of his latest movie ‘Direct Attack’ starring Poppy several times.
It is noted that Poppy made her debut as a heroine with the movie ‘Coolie,’ directed by Montazur Rahman Akbar. Poppy won the National
Film Awards for her performances in ‘Karagar’, ‘Megher Kole Rod’ and ‘Gangajatra’.
