A meeting was held with the leaders of Kulaura Upazila Press Club with the General Manager (Head of Corporate Sales) of GPH Ispat Limited, a prominent educationist, social worker and industrialist of Kulaura, Md. Enamul Islam.
The meeting was held at the Upazila Press Club office in Muktijoddha Complex on Saturday evening.
The meeting was chaired by Upazila Press Club President Md. Mosabbir Ali and moderated by General Secretary Najmul Bari Suhel.
The chief guest at the exchange of views was GPH Ispat General Manager and social worker Md. Enamul Islam.The special guests were Bhukshimail School and College Principal Nurul Islam and businessman Kamrul Islam.
Also present at the exchange of views were Upazila Press Club Joint General Secretary AKM Jaber, Organizing Secretary Mahfuz Shakil, and Office Secretary Rafiqul Islam Mamun delivered speeches.
Upazila Press Club members Shamsuddin Babu, Rezaul Islam Shafi, Md. Moyjul Islam, Kefayet were present at the time.
Hossain Sulman, Sheikh Badrul Islam Rana, Arian Riyad, Tanjim Ahmed, Ariful Islam and others.
At the meeting, Enamul Islam delivered an important speech on various aspects of the role of journalists in social development activities and corporate responsibility.
He praised the positive role of the media in overall development and expressed hope to work together in the future.
At the end of the exchange of views, a commemorative plaque was presented to prominent social worker Md. Enamul Islam by the Kulaura Upazila Press Club.
