VC Badruzzaman of BU apologises for misconduct during quota protest

Vice-Chancellor of Barishal University (BU) Mohammad Badruzzaman Bhuiyan apologized for the incidents happened against the university students during the anti-discrimination movement while discussing the 22 points of the students.
The meeting was held at Jibanananda Das Conference Hall of the University on Saturday (August 17), BU proctor Dr. Abdul Qayyum confirmed this information on Sunday (August 18). Barishal University students and journalists present at the meeting said BU VC Professor Dr. Badruzzaman Bhuiyan has apologized for the incident that happened to university students during the anti-discrimination student movement.
In a 40-second video leaked from the meeting, the VC is heard saying, ‘You are my family. There is no shame in apologizing to the other family members. “An expression of sincerity, I apologize to you for this …. (unintelligible). Dear students, you have seen, you have seen my works. I don’t like acting, my work, my …. (unintelligible) you have seen me. You must have seen me and followed me”.
