The vetern freedom fighter , also suspended BNP leader, ex -MP advocate Fazlur Rahman has said that various conspiracies are going on in the country against him.
Razakars and Al-Badrs are trying to prevent him from getting nomination from the party. He said, “Even if they spend 500 crore taka, they will want me not to get the party’s MP nomination.
But it is not my wish alone, you also have to say that we want this leader. We want to vote for our preferred candidate with the paddy sheaf mark.”
A huge procession and rally in support of Fazlur Rahman was held at Itna College playground on Monday afternoon. He made these remarks while delivering a speech at the rally.
Thousands of leaders, activists and general people participated in the meeting. The presence of freedom fighters was particularly eye-catching.
After the meeting, the procession started from Itna intersection in the evening and ended at the college ground. The participants entered the upazila headquarters in boats.
