Uttara Sarbojonin Kirtan Parishad (USKP) celebrated four days long kirtan at Azampur Government Primary School field at Sector-06, Uttara, Dhaka, said a press release. The inaugural function was held on Thursday 22th December 2022. The program includes recitations from holy Geeta, Sattanarayan Puja, devotional songs, kirtan mela etc. Porimal Kumar Shom, Alpana Saha, Dilip Kajuri, Kabita Basu, Ajoy Kumar, Amit Das, Bimal Datta, Nitai Das, Sib Sankar Modak, Bina Roy Biswas, Chinmoy Mojumder, Suplob Chowdhury, Moloy Das were present among others in the inaugural event.
Kirtan team from Bangladesh and India took part in kirtan function as nonstop basis till Monday morning 26th December. Uttara kirtan parishad was formed 2017 aiming to organize annual kirtan festival for sanatan inhabitant of greater uttara area. The annual kirtan event at uttara gaining popularity day by day as it gets support from all concerns to hold such a big gathering in the capital city dhaka.
