US nutrition scientists meet DU VC

A team of US nutrition scientists met Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Prof AAMS Arefin Siddique at his office on Thursday.
Dr Patrick Webb, Dean for Academic Affairs, Gerald J. and Dorothy R.
Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy of Tufts University, Boston of the United States of America (USA) led the team.
DU professor of Institute of Nutrition and Food Science Dr Nazma Shaheen and Prof MA Rahim of the department of Horticulture of Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh were, among others, present on the occasion.
During the meeting they emphasized on joint collaborations for conducting research and projects in Nutrition and Agriculture and its allied fields in Bangladesh.
