US Embassy to remain closed on May 25

The United States Embassy in Dhaka will remain closed on May 25 (Sunday), on the occasion of Memorial Day, an American national holiday. The Consular Section, the American Centre’s Archer K Blood American Centre Library and the Education USA Student Advising Centre, will also remain closed on the occasion, an embassy press release said here on Thursday.
However, emergency services for American citizens will be available and they can call 885-5500 for the duty officer.
