The University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Venturas Ltd., a leading EdTech company operating in both Japan and Bangladesh, to strengthen career opportunities for its students in the Japanese job market. The signing took place on Wednesday, 28 May 2025, at the ULAB campus.

This strategic partnership aims to provide ULAB students with access to job placements in Japan, Japanese language and cultural training, and career development programs designed to prepare them for global employment opportunities.

Professor Imran Rahman, Vice Chancellor of ULAB, and Ms. Yoriko Ueda, Founder and CEO of Venturas Ltd., signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.

At the event, Professor Rahman underscored the university’s commitment to developing globally competent graduates and called the partnership a timely initiative to connect academic learning with real-world, international career paths. Ms. Ueda, meanwhile, expressed her excitement about the collaboration, noting its potential to empower Bangladeshi youth with skills and opportunities that meet the demands of Japan’s evolving workforce.

The MoU marks a significant milestone in ULAB’s efforts to internationalize its student experience and is expected to foster long-term academic and professional exchange between Bangladesh and Japan.
