UK renowned entrepreneur, his son visit The New Nation

Mohamed Ali Harrath, a lawyer by profession in England and Wales, and a renowned entrepreneur and his son Mohamed Harrath, CEO of Islam TV, UK, visited the country’s oldest English daily The New nation in capital Dhaka on Sunday afternoon.

During their visit, they discussed, among other things, the atmosphere of journalism in Bangladesh and the newspapers views over serving the target audiences.

New Nation Editor Md. Mokarram Hossain, Chief Reporter Reza Mahmud, Special Correspondent Gazi Anowar, among others, welcomed the UK visitors in the office.

Mohamed Ali Harrath, has over 30 years of experience of leading businesses spanning multiple industries. His son Mohamed Ali founded the Islam Channel Network in 2004, the media group comprising Islam Channel, Islam Channel Urdu and Islam Channel Bangla, reaching millions of viewers around the world.

Mohamed Ali has delivered several key and iconic events, including the Global Peace and Unity (GPU) Festival, the largest Muslim, interfaith and multicultural event of its kind in Europe attracting over 50,000 attendees and the Islam Channel Business Awards which provides a significant platform for recognising the entrepreneurial accomplishments of British Muslims.
