UCB Investment raises Tk 350cr for EXIM Bank

UCB Investment Limited has successfully raised BDT 350 crore in capital for EXIM Bank PLC by issuing the “EXIM Bank 6th Subordinated Bond.”
A closing ceremony for the bond issuance was recently held at EXIM Bank PLC’s head office in the capital.
The funds raised through this bond will strengthen the bank’s Tier-2 capital, enhancing its financial stability and accelerating business expansion. This strategic move will enable the bank to broaden its customer services while contributing to Bangladesh’s overall economic growth.
Md Akhtar Hossain, Managing Director (Acting), EXIM Bank PLC, Tanzim Alamgir, Founding Managing Director and CEO, UCB Investment Limited, and senior executives from both organisations attended the closing ceremony.
