The UAP Law Sports Club (UAPLSC) is committed to the development of a sporting community among the students of the Department of Law and Human Rights at the University of Asia Pacific (UAP). In addition to fostering creativity via sporting, the club’s objectives include sharing and critiquing the work of peers; develop excellent communication skills, excellent event management skills.
For students, exercising regularly comes with many benefits, not only developing healthy bodies. Sports clubs and organised sporting activities equip students with plenty of skills that will aid them throughout their time in university, and onto later life.
UAP Law Sports Club (UAPLSC) arranged different competition in every semester.. Only an average of 70-100 students participates in the club and takes part in this exciting in every semester.
Head of Department of Law and Human Rights, University of Asia Pacific, Abdur Rahim expressed, ‘students get involved in sports club to develop their skill and intelligence’.
Md. Saleh Akram, Assistant Professor and Convener of UAP Law Sports Club mentioned, ‘that children who are involved in sports increase in confidence, an important factor in child development.
Sporting activities enable children to trust their own abilities through encouragement and praise and teaches them how to learn from constructive criticism’.
Earlier, UAP Law Sports Club has announced a 55-member’s central executive committee for 2023-2024 with President Md Badhan Molla and General Secretary Tariqul Islam Kawshal.
