Entertainment Report :

India’s first Bengali rock band is ‘Moheener Ghoraguli’. In 1976, a group of young people decided to write, sing, compose, and play their own songs.

Later, ‘Moheener Ghoraguli’ changed the definition of modern Bengali music.

The band has given many timeless songs. One of the most
popular songs of this band is ‘Aamar Priyo Caffe’.

This song was in the band’s album ‘Jhora Somoyer Gaan’ released in 1996. Later, the song was also used in the movie ‘Kichhu Songlap Kichhu Prolap’.

Now, Tanzir Tuhin has sung this popular song of the band ‘Moheener Ghoraguli’ in Coke Studio Bangla. The song titled ‘Cafe’ was released in Coke Studio Bangla yesterday.

This song is about an ordinary cafe. A cafe is a place where even a person’s ordinary day becomes a story.

Time seems to stand still, voices become low, and each table tells its own story, some people’s first meeting, some people’s last farewell.

People come and go, but something always remains. This beloved cafe was born in this eternal silence.

In addition to writing the lyrics and melody, Gautam Chatterjee, the founder of the band ‘Moheener Ghoraguli’, lent voice to the song. The new music of the song has been arranged by Shuvendu Das.

The new music arrangement includes Afro-Cuban jazz, Latin salsa and Bengali lines. Tanzir Tuhin is accompanied by Brazilian artist Livia Matos and West Bengal’s Gaurav Chatterjee in the song.
