Calling on the government to quickly bring the country back to a democratic path, former MP and former president of Nilphamari district BNP Engineer Shahrin Islam Chowdhury Tuhin said that the proposals made by BNP and other parties for reforms should be summarized and elections should be held soon. Let a democratic government run the country through elections.
He said this in his speech as the chief guest after a public meeting organized by the district BNP at the Shahid Minar premises in Nilphamari town on Saturday 17 May, afternoon.
He said that in the last 16 years, the fascist Sheikh Hasina government has destroyed the country. It has looted. It has destroyed the election system, law and courts and even wasted lives.
The reception program was presided over by district BNP president Alamgir Sarkar and was presided over by district BNP general secretary Zahurul Alam.
