Trust Bank PLC has recently signed a significant agreement with UnionPay International in Shanghai, China, marking a new milestone in the partnership between the two organisations.
The signing ceremony was attended by Ahsan Zaman Chowdhury, Managing Director and CEO of Trust Bank PLC, and Larry Wang, CEO of UnionPay International, along with senior officials from both institutions, says a press release.
Under the terms of the agreement, both parties will collaborate on the issuance and acceptance of UnionPay debit and credit cards in Bangladesh.
This strategic partnership is expected to offer significant benefits to local customers, particularly business professionals, medical travellers, and tourists travelling to and from China, by providing them with convenient and secure payment solutions.
