A motorcyclist was killed after being hit by a truck in Jagir area of Dhaka-Aricha highway in Manikganj.
The accident happened in front of Jagir High School of SadarUpazila around 12:30 PM on Tuesday (March 12).
The deceased’s name is Masudur Rahman (Kusum Ali). He was the son of DidarBakhsh of Uchutia area. Masudur Rahmanwas working as a teacher in Kaitta area of Saturiaupazila.
SI of Gola Highway Police Station Shah Alam said, when a truck loaded with bricks going to Paturia reached Jagir area around 12:30 noon, Masudur Rahman’s motorcycle was crushed. Masudur Rahman died on the spot.
Later Masudur Rahman’s family took the body home for burial with the permission of the Deputy Commissioner.
