A tree plantation program was held in memory of the martyrs of July-August 24 mass uprising in Rangpur.
Organized by the Rangpur District Administration and the Social Forest Department, the tree plantation program was inaugurated on Saturday at the Tajhat Zamindar Bari premises by the chief guest of the program, Rangpur Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Md. Ramiz Alam.
Present at the time were Divisional Forest Officer of the Social Forest Department Rangpur, Molla Md. Mizanur Rahman, Wildlife Biodiversity and Conservation Officer Smriti Singha Roy, Range Officer, Md. Mosharraf Hossain, Forester Forest Case Manager Md. Hasan Habib, FG Sadar Range Officer Md. Raihan Kabir and family members of the martyrs of the July-August 24 mass uprising.
