Jobayer is under investigation for allegedly accepting large sums in bribes in exchange for providing jobs on various posts, abusing his power to accumulate illicit wealth, and acquiring properties, including a house in London worth 29.45 lakh pound sterling, with funds suspected to be laundered abroad, the petition said.

The ACC in its petition has also mentioned that they might flee the country. In such a situation, it is necessary to impose a travel ban on their visiting abroad.

The ACC public prosecutor Mahmud Hossain Jahangir held a hearing on the matter in the court. Following the hearing, the court delivered the judgement.
