Transparency will be brought in the commercial holding tax of the Chattogram City Corporation: Dr. Shahadat

A memorandum of understanding (MOU) was signed between the Chattogram City Corporation and B Track Solutions and Mylaze on Monday to convert the commercial holding tax collection system of the Chattogram City Corporation into a completely digital platform. Mayor of CCC Dr. Shahadat Hossain said, "We demand technology-based policies. Taxes can be paid. There are many types of revenue collection such as fees,
maintenance and harassment. He also said that the activities of the Chattogram City Corporation are being conducted with complete automation of students. If this project is implemented, the freedom and legitimacy of tax collection will be ensured and citizens will have real-time information.

According to the corporation's terms of reference, the holding tax collection activities of the City Corporation's commercial establishments will have to be converted into a software system through the cloud. The software will have real- time time tracking, data analysis and tray facilities. Citizens will be able to pay online taxes through mobile accounting, online banking, ATM or cash discount. The group was attended by the acting Chief Executive Officer and Secretary of the Chattogram City Corporation Md. Ashraful Amin, Chief Revenue Officer Sarwar Kamal, Chief Accounts Officer Humayun Kabir Chowdhury, Revenue Officer Md. Sabbir Rahman Sunny and and other officials from CCC. B Track Chief Executive  Officer Tanvir Siddiqui and Head of Object Safayet Uddiq Abdullah were present. Chief Executive Officer of Mylaze Eng. Tahisin-ul-Islam, Riasat Islam Fardin,
Managing Director Abrar Rafid Chowdhury and Chief Information Officer Akhiyar
Noor were also present during the meeting.
