Maruf Hossain Sajib is a playwright, fiction writer and drama director. He came into the discussion by producing the drama titled ‘Bilop’ about Mehazabien Chowdhury and Afran Nisho under his own composition and direction. After that, among the dramas directed by him, the dramas like ‘Babui Pakhir Basha’, ‘Aj Akashe Chand Nei’, ‘Bhalo Manush’, Nusaiba’, Hashi’, ‘Kumirer Dorja’, ‘Ajkal Tumi Ami’, ‘Ami Ekhanei Thakbo,’ etc are popular.
For the English New Year, director Sajib has made a new drama titled ‘Kachhakachhi Duijon’ with Yash Rohan and Tanjim Saiara Totini.
Before this, Sajib made two dramas titled ‘Kotha Bondhu’ and ‘Khushi’ with Yash Rohan.
The drama ‘Kotha Bondhu’ aired early last year. And the drama ‘Khushi’ will be aired on the coming Valentine’s Day.
The story and screenplay of drama ‘Kachhakachhi Duijon’ is written by director Maruf Hossain Sajib himself.
Regarding talking about acting in this drama, actor Yash Rohan told this correspondent, “I like playwright and writer Maruf Hossain Sajib more than director Maruf Hossain Sajib. Undoubtedly, it is also true that he is also great as a director. However, I have to say that I like his writing; I like his script very much. That’s why I talk a lot with Sajib Bhai, about many scripts and many stories. From the place of creativity, we discuss various types of stories. The story of drama ‘Kachhakachhi Duijon’ is also beautiful. I really like the story.”
“And Totini is a very good friend of mine. I like her performance very much. And I’m no one to judge acting, but let me say one thing. What I love about Totini is that when she is in front of the camera, be it a serious scene or a funny scene, Totini tries to do it with 100 per cent concentration,” he also said.
Actress Totini shared her feelings by this way, “It is my first time to work with Sajib Bhai’s team under his direction. I like to do the work. I have worked together with Yash Bhai in many dramas. Now I feel very comfortable working together and acting with him. The story of the drama ‘Kachhakachhi Duijon’ is beautiful. Both of us have tried to portray our characters properly, hope the audience will like it.”
Director Sajib said that the drama ‘Kachhakachhi Duijon’ will be aired soon.
