The footballers of Bashundhara Kings joined the coaching camp of the preliminary squad of Bangladesh Football team on Wednesday. Topu Barman was one of the booter of Bashundhara Kings.
After taking part at the practice session in the Bir Shreshtha Shaheed Sepoy Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium in the city’s Kamalapur Topu Barman said, ” I am highly delighted that we are going to the field after seven months. The domestic football meets and international football competitions were postponed due to coronavirus outbreak. I feel good that we have returned to the field. Everybody is serious.”
Before joining the coaching camp, booters of Bashundhara Kings were engaged in practice. Topu thinks it will be helpful for them before play against Nepal.
Topu said, ” We have to retain our fitness level. When we were in Bashundhara Kings, we had eight-week training. After a long time, we are going to play at our home ground. We want to win all the matches.”
Assistant coach Masud Parvez Kaiser said, ” All the booters have to play practice matches to develop their fitness level and also regain skill.”
Bangladesh will play two FIFA international friendly matches against Nepal on November 13 and November 17.
