Sylhet Mother and Child Welfare Center has been selected as the Sylhet District’s Best Mother and Child Welfare Center in recognition of its special contribution to maternal and child health services.
On Monday, on the occasion of World Population Day, Sylhet Mother and Child Welfare Center, a health service institution located in Atir Bari, South Surma, was selected as the Sylhet District’s Best Mother and Child Welfare Center at a discussion meeting and award distribution ceremony organized by Family Planning Sylhet at the Sylhet District Commissioner’s conference room.
The Chief Guest of the program, Sylhet Divisional Commissioner Khan Md. Reza Un Nabi and Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Sher Mahbub Murad, received the honorary crest from Dr. Israt Jahan Khan, Chief Medical Officer of Sylhet Best Mother and Child Welfare Center.
Receiving the best award, Dr. Israt Jahan Khan said that the Mother and Child Welfare Center is a place of trust and confidence of the people of Sylhet district. The officers and employees here are always ready to provide services to the patients. The role of the staff of this institution, especially in maternal and child health services, is very significant. Because of their sincerity, this center has been selected as the best maternal and child welfare center in the district. He sought everyone’s cooperation to maintain this continuity.
