UNB Joypurhat :
Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) destroyed seized smuggled narcotic substances worth Tk2.5 crore by crushing them under bulldogger in a limestone field in the district town on Wednesday.
The border force destroyed the narcotic items, including heroin, Phensidyl, liquor, cannabis and injection, in presence of Lieutenant Colonel Abdur Razzak Tarafdar, commanding officer of Joypurhat BGB Battalion-3, executive magistrate Abu Hasnat, Nazmul Kabir, assistant director of Bogra Narcotics Control Department, and Rafiqul Islam, deputy director of Joypurhat Rapid Action Battalion-5.
