Tk.1400cr bank defaulter held at Ctg Airport

A large loan defaulter named Ansarul Alam Chowdhury has been detained at Chatogram Shah Amanat International Airport yesterday morning (Monday). Airport sources said he was detained at the outgoing terminal while traveling to Dubai at 8:30 am.He was listed in political affiliations of various intelligence agencies at Civil Aviation and Airport.
Chittagong’s Chaktai Branch Islami Bank has a loan of more than Tk 1400 crore in his name, airport sources said. Locally sources reveals detained Ansarul Alam is the cousin of much talked Saiful Alam Masud popularly known as S. Alam.
