Titas Gas suspends 5 officials

The authorities have suspended a total of 5 people, including an assistant officer, for sharing bribe money collected from illegal gas connection users in their rooms at the Abibi-Fatullah office of Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution PLC.
A news item was published on page 11 of the New Nation newspaper on Tuesday, February 18. After the news was published, the accused officials and employees were suspended on Thursday, February 20. The suspension order was issued in a letter signed by Md. Moniruzzaman, Deputy General Manager of the Personnel Relations Department of Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution PLC.
They are Assistant Technical Officer SM Harun Al Rashid Code No. 02410, Worker Ismail Pradhan Code No. 09365, PC Operator Hasan Imam Code No. 09818, Assistant Md. Shamsuddin Mia Code No. 08571, Senior Driver Md. Solaiman Code No. 09850, working at Titas Gas’s Abibi-Fatullah office.
These individuals have been banned from entering all company offices without permission from the authorities while the order is in effect.
