A few months ago, it was reported that Tanjin Tisha was set to act in a Kolkata film titled Bhalobashar Morshum (Season of Love). She was cast opposite popular Bollywood actor Sharman Joshi, who gained fame for his role in the acclaimed film 3 Idiots.
The film is being directed by Kolkata-based filmmaker M. N. Raj, who previously directed Raavan starring Jeet.
The film’s official launch took place in Kolkata at the end of May. Sharman Joshi and the film’s other lead actress, Sushmita, were present at the event, but Tanjin Tisha was notably absent. A few days later, the shooting began, yet Tisha was nowhere to be seen.
According to a member of the production team, who requested anonymity, Tisha faced visa complications that prevented her from joining the shoot. It remains uncertain whether she will be able to participate later, though the film’s team has reportedly given up hope. Due to her absence, Kolkata actress Sushmita—who has recently been in the spotlight over rumors of a relationship with director Srijit Mukherji—has taken over the role opposite Sharman Joshi.
While Bhalobashar Morshum has become uncertain, Tisha has joined Bangladesh’s top actor Shakib Khan in a new film titled Soldier. If everything goes as planned, this film will mark her big-screen debut. Shooting for the movie has already begun, and Tanjin Tisha is expected to join the set next week. The film is directed by Sakib Fahad—his directorial debut—and is scheduled to release in December.
