Highly motivated Bangladesh Cricket team will meet Pakistan Cricket team in their third and last Twenty20 International (T20I) match at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in the capital’s Mirpur today. The game will start at 6:00pm (Bangladesh Standard Time).
Captain of Bangladesh T20I Cricket team Litton Das will lead his outfit, while Captain of Pakistan T20I Cricket team Salaman Ali Agha will lead his side.
Private satellite sports channel T Sports will telecast the match live.
Bangladesh have already clinched the series 2-0.
The Tigers registered a resounding seven-wicket victory over Pakistan in the first T20I at the same venue on July 20. Bangladesh posted a slim eight-run win over the touring side in the second T20I at the same venue on July 22.
If Bangladesh win the today’s match, the Tigers will whitewash the visitors.
On the other hand, if Pakistan can record victory in the today’s match, Pakistan will have a consolation win. It may be mentioned that Pakistan whitewashed Bangladesh at their home soil in May-June this year.
Bangladesh have now a chance to take sweet revenge and whitewash Pakistan.
After the second T20I, Jaker Ali Anik, who was adjudged the Man of the Match for his outstanding batting performance, said, ” I only count the remarkable innings, which innings help us to win the match. I don’t those big innings of me which match was not a victorious for us. As I played a match-winning innings today, I count the innings and I think I have contributed for my team”
Anik said, “I have practised with my teammates but it is not final practice for me. I usually practise solely, which helps me to change my performance. I worked with my coach for last two years during the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Cricket.”
He said, ” We will not take Pakistan lightly in today’s match. We shall try to win. They are also good side. Our target will be to win the last match. We shall go through a process.”
” They played really well in the last match. They gave fight. We also played a good cricket. We tried our level best to fight against our opponents. After the stipulated time it was a big thing that we won the match,” he added.
