Motivated Bangladesh Cricket team will face Netherlands Cricket team in their 3rd and last Twenty20 International (T20I) match at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium today.
The game will start at 6:00pm (Bangladesh Standard Time). Private satellite channel Nagorik TV and private satellite sports channel T Sports will telecast the match live.
The Tigers have already won the T20I series 2-0. If Bangladesh can defeat Netherlands today, Bangladesh will whitewash the Dutch.
Bangladesh recorded a massive eight-wicket victory over Netherlands in the first T20I at the same venue on August 31.
The Tigers posted a resounding nine-wicket win over the Dutch in the second T20I at the same venue on September 1.
It may be mentioned that after appointed Julian Wood as power-hitting coach, the style of Bangladesh’s cricket has been totally change as the batters showed a hard-hitting batting against Netherlands. Opener Parvez Hossain Emon hit 21-ball 23 in the second T20I, while Litton Das remained unbeaten with run-a-ball 18.
Earlier, Litton Das cracked a windy 29-ball 54 (not out) in the first T20I, while Saif Hassan remained unbeaten with 19-ball 36 and Tanzid Hasan Tamim made 24-ball 29.
The pacers and the spinners of Bangladesh also shone with the cherry and contributed something special for the victories of Bangladesh.
Opener Tanzid Hasan Tamim remained unbeaten with 54 runs in the second T20I. He hit four fours and two sixes in his 40-ball innings. After the match, Tanzid Hasan Tamim spoke to the journalists.
He said, ” We are playing aggressive cricket. The whole team has been given freedom. Everyone can play in their own way. The team management has said to use our responsibilities well on the field. I wasn’t even in the dressing room before. In T20Is, everyone is given a role. Freedom is also given.”
