Sports Reporter:

Bangladesh Cricket team will face Sri Lanka Cricket team in their third and final Twenty20 International (T20I) match today at Ranasinghe Premadasa Stadium in Colombo, the capital city of Sri Lanka. The match will start at 7:30pm (Bangladesh Standard Time). Litton Das will lead Bangladesh as the captain, while Charith Asalanka will lead Sri Lanka as the captain. Private satellite channel Nagorik TV and private satellite sports channel T Sports will telecast the match live.

Earlier, Sri Lanka registered an easy seven-wicket victory over Bangladesh in the first T20I at Pallekele International Cricket Stadium in Sri Lanka on July 10.

The Tigers took a sweet revenge and posted a massive 83-run victory over the Islanders in the second T20I at Ranagiri Dambulla International Stadium in Sri Lanka on July 13 and leveled the series 1-1.

So, the winning team of the today’s match will win the three-match T20I series.

If today’s match washes out by rain, the three-match T20I series will be ended in a 1-1 draw.
Promising batter of Bangladesh Shamim Hossain said, ” The victory of the second T20I match was very important for us. The win has increased our confidence. Now we have a good chance to win the series. I hope if we can present a better brand of cricket in the tomorrow’s match, we can win the game.” Before today’s match, Bangladesh faced Sri Lanka in 19 matches. Of them, Bangladesh registered seven victories, while Sri Lanka won 12 games.

The batters of Bangladesh could not perform well in the first T20I but in the second T20I the Tigers shone with willow and achieved a huge victory. If the batters can show a spectacular performance against Sri Lanka in the last and final T20I, the Tigers can earn their much-awaited victory.
