Bangladesh Cricket squad will face Pakistan Shaheens today in their warm-up match at the ICC Academy Ground in Dubai.
Before taking part India in their first Group-A match of the ICC Champions Trophy at Dubai International Cricket Stadium on February 20, Bangladesh will get only one opportunity to play a warm-up match. The Tigers will play against Pakistan Shaheens in the lone warm-up game, which will start at 3:00pm.
Players of Bangladesh Cricket squad have given very importance to play the warm-up match, before they take part in the match of the first phase of ICC Champions Trophy.
Promising pacer Tanzim Hasan Sakib said to a local website, ” We arrived Dubai in the late night flight of the aeroplane. Then we took rest one day. After that we took part in the practice session here. We have a good recovery after participate in the training session. We feel good after our practice sessions. We shall take preparation for the first phase match of the ICC Champions Trophy after participate in the warm-up match. We shall try to gain about the wickets of here. We shall learn lessons after did bowling here and make accuracy of our line and length. We shall try to gain knowledge how to dominate over the batters.”
Usually before the first phase of the ICC Champions Trophy, the participating teams get opportunities to play enough warm-up matches. But this year most of the participating teams of the ICC Champions Trophy will not play warm-up matches against those team’s, which will take part in the ICC Champions Trophy. India played a series against England at home before the ICC Champions Trophy. Hosts Pakistan took part in a Tri-Nation series with the teams of New Zealand and South Africa recently.
On the other hand, Bangladesh, Afghanistan did not get enough chance to prepare themselves by playing ODI matches against other teams. Bangladesh played their ODI series in December of last year. Before ICC Champions Trophy Bangladesh will play against their opponent in a lone warm-up match. But there is no player of Pakistan Cricket squad in Pakistan Shaheens, which will play against Bangladesh Cricket squad.
Bangladesh will take on New Zealand in their second Group-A match of the ICC Champions Trophy at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium in Pakistan on February 24. The Tigers will face Pakistan in their third Group-A match at the same venue on February 27.

Pakistan Shaheens: Mohammad Haris (Captain), Aamir Jamal, Abdul Samad, Ali Raza, Azan Awais, Mohammad Wasim Jnr, Mubasir Khan, Musa Khan, Omair Bin Yousuf, Sahibzada Farhan, Sufiyan Moqim and Usama Mir.
