The Tigers and the Caribbeans team landed in Chattogram, the port city of the country on Saturday. Bangladesh will take on West Indies in the third and last One Day International (ODI) match of the Bangabandhu Bangladesh-West Indies three-match ODI series tomorrow at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium (ZAHS). The match begins at 11.30am. State-owned television channel Bangladesh Television (BTV), private satellite sports channel T Sports, private satellite channel Nagorik TV will telecast the match live from the arena.
Earlier, Bangladesh crushed West Indies by six wickets in the first ODI match at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium (SBNCS) in Dhaka on January 20. The home team clinched the ODI series 2-0 after thrashing the visitors by seven wickets in the second ODI at the same venue on January 22.
The first Test between Bangladesh and West Indies will be held at the ZACS from February 3 to February 7.
Besides, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) XI will face West Indies in a three-day practice match at the MA Aziz Stadium in Chattogram which begins on January 29.
After playing the first Test in Chattogram, Bangladesh team and West Indies team will arrive in Dhaka. The second Test between the Tigers and the Caribbeans team will take place at the SBNCS from January 11 to January 15.
The players of the two teams checked into the hotel in Chattogram and took rest on Saturday before getting onto the field for practice today.
