Bangladesh Cricket team will take on West Indies Cricket team today in their third and last Twenty20 International (T20I) match at the Bir Shreshtha Shaheed Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Stadium in Chattogram, the port city of the country. The dead rubber match will start 6:00pm (Bangladesh Standard Time). Captain of the Tigers Litton Das will lead his side, while Captain of Caribbeans Shai Hope will lead his out-fit. Private satellite sports channel T Sports will telecast the match live.

West Indies already clinched the series 2-0.
The visitors defeated the hosts by 16 runs in the first T20I at the same venue on October 27.
The tourists beat the home side by 14 runs in the second T20I at the same venue on October 29.
Before today’s match, Bangladesh and West Indies faced each other in 21 T20I matches. Of them, the Tigers recorded eight victories, while West Indies posted 11 wins and rest of the two matches ended without any result.

Though today’s match is a dead rubber games, but it is very important for Bangladesh as Bangladesh have to win this match, if they want to avoid whitewash.
Bangladesh needed 150 runs to win in the second T20I but the hosts failed to do it successfully. Opener Tanzid Hasan hit 48-ball 61, but Bangladesh lost the game. Tanzid thinks if he could stay at the crease before ending the match, the result between Bangladesh and West Indies would be different.
After the second T20I match, opener Tanzid Hasan said, ” As Bangladesh could not win the match, there is no value of my performance. The new batters faced tough task to hit in the wicket. I think if I could stay at the crease, we could earn the victory.”
Tanzid said, ” The consistent batter had to finish the game. To hit in the pitch for a new batter is hard. So, the new batters were out when they hit the balls. I think if I did my job my properly, Bangladesh could easily win the match. I failed to maintain my responsibility, so we tasted defeat.”
