Three senior police officers including Additional Police Commissioner (Counter Terrorism & Transnational Crime) Md Asaduzzaman have been sent on forced retirement on Wednesday.
The other officials are Additional Inspector General of Police Md Atiqul Islam and Deputy Inspector General of Police Md Anwar Hossain.
The Public Security Division of the Ministry of Home Affairs issued three separate notifications in this regard.
Earlier on August 13, former Special Branch (SB) Chief, Additional Inspector General of Police, Md. Monirul Islam and former Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Commissioner Habibur Rahman were sent on forced retirement.
After the fall of Sheikh Hasian-led government, several high-ranked police officials were sent on forced retirement and transferred.
