Three youths have been killed when a truck ran over the motorcycle they were riding at Savar on the outskirts of capital Dhaka.
Police said, the accident took place around 7pm on Friday on Dhaka-Aricha highway at Jadurchar of Hemayetpur. The identities of the deceased were not immediately available.
Savar Model Police Station OC Mostofal Kamal told bdnews24.com that the truck had hit the motorcycle from behind. The three were on their way to Savar. All of them died on the spot, he said.
Police detained the driver of the truck, OC Kamal added.
