Three Dhaka Bureau Representatives Leave for Brussels to Attend Pressenza International Meeting

Three representatives from the Dhaka Bureau have left for Brussels early on November 5 to attend the Pressenza International Meeting scheduled to be held in Brussels and Paris from November 6 to 9.

The meeting will take place in Brussels on November 6–7 and in Paris on November 8–9. Every year, Pressenza, an international news agency, brings together its editorial teams from five continents to promote respectful, grassroots-oriented journalism, translation skills, and professional excellence.

This year’s sessions in Brussels and Paris will focus on the situation of conscientious objection in Europe and the practice of nonviolent journalism in the context of conflicts, particularly in the Arab world. Various organizations and media outlets will participate in the discussions.

Given that the 2025 edition places special emphasis on the Asian focus, the participation of the Bangladeshi delegation carries particular significance.

The three-member Dhaka Bureau delegation includes Executive Editor (Honorary) and Daily Inqilab Senior Reporter Mynul Hasan Sohel, Administrative Head Mohammad Kawser Ahmed, and Contributor Md. Mizanur Rahman Talukdar Pasha.
