Three development projects to be implemented by LGED at an estimated cost of Taka one crore twenty five lakhs were inaugurated Thursday in Madhukhali upazilla of this district.
Jatiyo Sangsad member of Faridpur-1 Abdur Rahman MP inaugurated the projects in presence of the officials and people of the locality in a simple function.
The projects include bitumen carpeting of Genderdia- Mohonpur road at an estimated cost of Taka 53.50 lakhs, construction of a drainage project in Madhukhali pourashava area at an estimated cost of Taka 28.50 lakhs and bitumen carpeting of Sreepur Karmakarpara road at an estimated cost of Taka 43 lakhs.
The inaugural function was attended among others by upazila chairman Md. Azizur Rahman Molla in the chair, pourashava mayor Khondoker Morshed Rahman Limon, upazila Awami League president Mirza Maniruzzaman Bachchu, Awami League secretary Rezaul Haque Baku poura Awami League president Haji Mohammad Ali and LGED Assistant Engineer Md. Golam Azam.
