Three Arrested in Narayanganj with Foreign Arms and Ammunition

RAB-11 has arrested three people in Siddhirganj, Narayanganj, with two
foreign firearms and ammunition. The arrestees are Khorshed (46), son
of Muslim from Godnail; Ripon (30), son of Lal Mohan Lal; and Joy
(26), son of Md. Shahid. Recovered items include a foreign revolver
engraved “Made in England,” a flare gun, two live rounds, and two
cartridges.
RAB-11 Company Commander Md. Naeem-ul confirmed the arrests on
Wednesday (September 17) afternoon. Earlier that night, acting on a tip-
off, RAB conducted a raid in Godnail, Siddhirganj, and recovered the
weapons.
RAB said the operation was part of ongoing intelligence activities
against terrorists and illegal arms holders. During preliminary
questioning, the suspects admitted they had long been using illegal
foreign firearms to carry out criminal activities in Siddhirganj and other
parts of Narayanganj.
They failed to produce any legal documents for the recovered weapons.
Legal proceedings against them are underway at Siddhirganj Police
Station.
