On the occasion of International Democracy Day, the procession of BNP Chattagram Division has started at Almas Mor in the city. Leaders of Central and Chattagram divisions are speaking on the temporary stage from 3:30 pm on Tuesday (September 17).
BNP Standing Committee member Salahuddin Ahmed will address the procession as the chief guest. Meanwhile, BNP was supposed to hold a procession on Sunday (September 15) as part of its central program on International Democracy Day.
But the schedule was postponed due to inclement weather and the date was set for Tuesday (September 17).
Before the start of the procession, the central, district and metropolitan leaders are giving speeches on the temporary stage. Starting from the city’s WasaMor, the procession will go around the various roads of the city and will end at the Laldighi ground of the city.
Apart from Chattagram metropolis, Chattagram North and South districts, leaders, workers and supporters of BNP and BNP’s affiliates and affiliates from Cox’s Bazar, Bandarban, Khagrachari, Rangamati, Noakhali, Feni and Lakshipur districts, upazilas and municipalities are participating in the procession.
The procession is chaired by BNP convenorErshadUllah and member secretary Najimur Rahman.
