The National Award is a matter of great honour for any artist. Naturally, the actress is overjoyed by the news. In a statement, she said, ‘I am overwhelmed and deeply touched to receive the National Award for my performance in Mrs. Chatterjeevs Norway.
This is the first National Award of my 30-year acting career. As an artist, I feel fortunate to have worked in some truly unique films. I have received immense love for those films. I want to thank the National Award jury for honoring my performance in this film. I would like to share this moment with my entire team, including producers NikkhilAdvani, Monisha, and Madhu, and director AshimaChibber.
This recognition is a testament to my 30 years of work and my dedication to the craft.’
Mrs. Chatterjeevs Norway was released in 2023. In her statement, the Bollywood actress further added,
