The New Nation’s ex-photojournalist Rafiq Uddin dies

Rafiq Uddin Enayet (61), a former photojournalist for New Nation and a respected member of the Bangladesh Photojournalists Association (BPA) passed away on Friday, at 11a.m. while undergoing treatment in the ICU of the Government Employees Hospital. Late Rafiq Uddin Enayet was engaged in professional photojournalism for many years and earned respect from his colleagues through his honesty, dedication, and professional skill.

He selflessly contributed to various social activities, leaving a significant impact on society. Dua for the forgiveness of the departed soul are requested, and heartfelt condolences are extended to his bereaved family. The first janaza-e-namaz will be held on Friday after Maghrib at Khilgaon Prabati Bagh Jame Mosque, followed by a second janaza-e-namaz at the madrasa and masjid he established in Hatia. Subsequently, the burial will take place in his family graveyard in Noakhali.
